Sunday was daddy's first Father's Day! What a fun new holiday for daddy to get to celebrate and just another reason for him to get presents, which mommy tells me he loves. :) We also got to see papa and nana McCurren. They came to Des Moines to see us and to celebrate Father's Day, and we had a wonderful day. We went out to lunch at Jethro's BBQ because apparently mommy and daddy both really like barbeque. I guess I'll find out what I think of it... After lunch, we again drove around looking at some nice houses. I think I like driving around in the car! Then we headed out to a really big furniture store in Des Moines to look around. Mommy and daddy enjoyed the free cookies while I enjoyed a nice diaper change in the cafe. Mommy wasn't so sure that was the right place to change my diaper but daddy told her it was fine. She just rolled her eyes, which daddy says she does a lot. When it was time for me to eat again, we all headed back to our house. For Father's Day, mommy, daddy and I got grandpa a card and a picture of grandpa and me. He loved it, and I think it will make a great addition to the other pictures he has at home.
I also got daddy a few gifts, though a couple of them were mostly for me! :) If you want to see some of what I got him, take a look below.

Watching everybody eat was hard work!
Have you ever seen so many lights?
This was my card to daddy - from his lil monkey
I got daddy a lullaby CD of Nirvana tunes - mommy says that's his favorite band
I also got daddy a Hawkeye dress for me to wear. He says I'll wear it a lot next fall, when it fits me
