The Adventures of Kennedy Renée!: Lunch date for three!

Today, mommy, daddy and I went for a nice little lunch date to a cute place on Ingersoll Ave. called Bauder's. Mommy calls it a darling little mom-n-pop place and after going today, I would have to agree. It is part ice cream shop, part sandwich shop and part pharmacy. Sounds complicated doesn't it! But you know what.....the food was really good and the ice cream hit the spot afterward. Plus daddy loved the cheap prices :) Daddy got a hot dog and chips while mommy got the Roosevelt's special which included sliced turkey and Swiss cheese with mustard on a grilled hoagie. After lunch, daddy got a $.99 root beer float and mommy got a big scoop of strawberry ice cream which were perfect on the warm walk back home. All together the total was under $10 (daddy smiled again)!

Together, we had a great day. Mommy and I slept in (which mommy really appreciated) and I fed quite well today. Daddy says I am getting plenty of food based on my most recent diapers :) In between feedings, I took several long naps. I suppose I am resting up for another exciting trip to the Farmer's Market tomorrow morning. I think we are supposed to meet up with my crazy uncle Kurtis and his girlfriend Liz (who daddy calls Lizard) tomorrow morning downtown for a little while. Mommy and daddy always enjoy seeing them and so do I. Well everyone, have a great weekend and the next post should be coming soon! Till then......
